well, if you wanted a 'real' response.

The rep is pretty much a troll tool for telling people if you like/dislike thier posting habits; We can see why so that we can fix our posting methods.

Its mostly exploited by trolls though, I recently repped someone down for being in the line of fire.

@Gazea - The idea was to stop people from trolling members by rating them down for no reason, so you have to explain why you rep'd somebody now.
