No but the trolling idiocracy will damage it over time. I want this place survive for another 10 years so I can post from places like Japan, Bhutan, Iceland and many other countries. I stick with this place as my main forum and I am aiming to spread the word about RA2 to other forums. I want RA2 to be known as a prime example of a practically unknown game that survived due to a dedicated fanbase so it becomes a bit more popular. Yes people GTM has had highs and lows (I think someone once said that back in '08 there was only about 10 regular members) but its gradually on the rise.

You do realize the community has actually become a lot more newbie friendly and harsh over the last couple of year right? On top of that, the "trolling idiocracy" of now is nothing compared to the sh** that went on with Sparkey/Foxpet/TX/Whoever the **** else was involved in that sh**, I mean we would have like flame wars in showcases lmao. (IIRC that b00m tourney that went down right after I joined had like a ****ing 20 page long flame war). Even posting quality has become less sh**ty too outside the Junkyard, but of course everybody seems to only use the Junkyard and playground.

People have been saying GTM will die for ****ing years man, and it still hasn't yet.

Yeah but I'm 90% sure those 'people' have been Jonzu.

I never heard any of those that you listed saying anything about "GTM IS DYING!!!!" before, infact I'm pretty sure NFX said the exact opposite before. It seems you just decided to list the names of 3 people who left over the period of 3 years, which obviously means GTM IS DYING!!!!!!!

just saying you people see all the trolling in GTM and complain, so what ? It's only done in playground, playground is the DEDICATED PLACE for trolling and yet you guys complain. You can just remove yourself from it, you know.

also i find hilarious that jonzu is saying "gtm is dying" now when it is quite active, plenty of tournament threads, ironforge, modding, the showcases aren't missing in activity.

also more funny is when jonzu says there's too much trolling when he himself is a giant troll-bait.

Ounce left because he had a severe case of thin skin and pride... Goldenfox couldn't bear with being the constant butt of the joke, which was mostly his fault (at least jonzu does it better), and NFX just left, probably due to IRL or disinterest.

Back then in the showcases there was venko's showcase... and sparkey's... and it has been deleted by Click instead of being kept as history... jaydee's has NOTHING on it.

See the reason why I hate this suicide crap is because my cousin killed himself and I know a classmate who tried to do twice and one of the times was in the school toilets. Thats the reason why suicide jokes is never funny to me. In fact everytime I see someone making a joke like that I call it inhuman. Same goes with constant perverted jokes as well because it's never funny. Its disgusting.

I have also had several people I know commit suicide. It doesn't make a sh** of difference to me.
