This happens to me so often when I play with legos...
(Image removed from quote.)

I ****ing hate it when that happens. I end up almost cutting myself trying to pry them apart with my nails.

I found them either easy to pry apart or insanely difficult. Usually meaning I either need to use my hands or my teeth.
Yes that sequence of words I just said made perfect sense.

I stopped playing lego maybe six or seven years ago, and haven't touched my lego bricks for a very long time.

But lego is most excellent for many intellectual skills.

I'm always playing with MY bricks. :D
Anyway, I've just been sent home from school because the bullying got really bad today and I got beaten up. The main reason that I got sent home was because the governors were in school and they didn't want them finding out. Such a crap school. >.>

Presumably it's jsut so they can tell them "Oh, no, bullying doesn't happen in this school". Which is just an out-and-out lie. They're bound to find out sooner or later.

Despite the fact that it has been happening for two years and most of the teachers know about it. Oh, and apparently it's MY fault. Yeah, I totally MADE them do that to me.

Defend yourself ! Bullying is mostly a contest of wills, and the weak-willed, the ones which fear, are the losers.

Show your bully that you do not fear him. Or at least, appear to be brave. Of course, physical violence is badly seen in school, so try to get the guys off your back with words. Of course, if violence is the only language he understands, destroy him.

I would say that first statement was incorrect, at least where I am. Normally the bullies go around in groups of three or more, purely to play the numbers game. If one of them starts to lose, the others usually jump in with a cheap shot or something. The bullies are normally more scared than the victims, at least in my experience.

As for the second point, standing up to him has a chance of working, as does simply ignoring them and not allowing them to provoke you. The best method, I've found, is usually to go to a figure of authority. They usually manage to get something done. If they don't, then just avoid them as best you can. It's a crying shame when your teachers and such are in this state of blind ignorance to a problem, just for the sake of reputation or a paycheck.

Meh. Tried violence before and I was the one punished for it (despite the fact that he started it AND gave me a messed up face).

Right, so I told my form tutor about it and he said that he had noticed it. Later on in the day he took them out of the lessons and, instead of trying to stop it, told them that I can't take criticism and that he would advise them to stop. That's it. He didn't do anything else.

I've tried ignoring them and that's where it usually turns physical. Oh, and there's 5-7 of them in total. I can't avoid them as they're in most of my lessons (can't wait to choose my options) and, as I stated before, none of the teachers care.

I was really into Lego until I built a robot and discovered the fun of machining stuff. I still use Lego technic to test ideas and stuff like that. I'll post some of my Lego stuff sometime.

And in other news, I'm going to visit Woster Polytechnic Institute this weeked.
