I use Firefox. Works fine for me.
If I REALLY need to use another browser for everything, I'd use Opera.

what version? I have used Firefox for nearly 4 years now (aside from the brief time I used Chrome) 7.0.1 seems quite buggy,

decided to try Chrome as its apparently the only browser that couldnt be hacked by professional hackers, seems cool so I will roll with that for now..

I cannot find anything beyond Microsoft systems misidentifying Chrome as a threat on PC's

Google put a $20,000 or so bounty out on there Browser for someone to show them they could hack it.. 3 years later nobody has done it..

Well, something threw a virus into my PC on Friday. I heard several reports of the same thing happening on other PCs, and several people said that Google had contracted a virus (Kujii was the one who told me first)

and before you say anything, I have four separate anti-virus programs running constantly.

Or how about Comodo Dragon? It's Chromium but with added security stuff.

I think I still have it on here somewhere...

And the name of this virus is? Im not a google employee so Im not denying its possible and am interested to know of potential threats

But so far you are yet to provide any actual info, a name, links or anything beyond your own theory :/

It could all be an unfortunate coincidence.
I sometimes use Chrome, and nothing's happened to me yet.

I dunno, I just heard it from Kujii first after sending him a test message to see if Skype was working, considering this virus had crashed Rainmeter, MSN, Java and a host of other programs and wasn't letting me log into anything online. He told me he'd got a similar virus after opening Google Chrome. My Google Chrome runs its starting processes at startup, so it got us both thinking it might be Chrome. Then I tried using my brother's netbook and got the same virus by opening Chrome.

I'm not sure whether it was an actual VIRUS or not - AVG and Malwarebytes both picked up a Trojan each and I set Avira off an a Tracking Cookie hunt, just in case it was one of them
