I'm pretty sure nobody would buy an FPS that didn't support online multiplayer

I'm still confused how you are saying it doesn't have a storyline.
I think SM is a pretty cool guy, eh builds unicycle-bots and doesn't afraid of anything
So that is the reason why playing online increases the entire longevity of the game.Seeing as though most good games have some sort of a multiplayer experience, not having online is taking away half of the game.So if you don't have PSN on the PS3, you are not getting the full experience.

If a game has no online, you haven't lost half a game if there was not really any way to implement online play.
