I would say you're quite opinionated, personally. That's not necessarily a bad thing, thought, but you need to explain things when you post them. Your previous post is a pretty good example.

Most of the forum - as I've said - provides explanations to their opinions, rather than just saying what they think. A statement without evidence is just a non sequitur, be it fact or just an opinion.

You sound like you're complaining about that fact...

Opinions are only natural, though it doesn't mean they are good. Everyone has opinions, including you, and it is very well like that.

Without opinions on different topics, the art of arguing wouldn't even exist, neither would plenty of other things.

Opinions are what makes us different. We have mostly similar bodies, but our minds aren't the same.

Opinions are what makes us unique as well, and that make us differ and argue. And constructive thought can be extracted out of the argument, if both arguers argue correctly.

One opinion of mine : Freedom is ABSOLUTE, and by this the very notion of equality is and always has been nonsense on an empirical viewpoint.

Though of course, there are people that have greater capacities for freedom than others, and people who do not know/care about truly being free. The former are the men that shape this world, for good or ill intent.

We aren't all patient. Of course you get annoyed if someone disagrees with you, UNLESS you think his disagreement will bring a constructive discussion between the two of you. But still, in a corner of your mind, your ego still whispers "oh god what a jerk this guy, can't he just shut up ?".

Pretty sure you have felt this before. For myself I had felt this before.

Hare-brained idea: Unban the IP and delete the 027 account. It's the equivalent of a perma-ban, but he said that he quit anyways. :/

He could just ban the individual account instead of deleting it. Giving him the choice to return should he ever change his mind.

As people have said, people like to have a point explained rather than just thrown out. That's why I got annoyed that one time; you simply didn't explain why. Furthermore, saying "in my opinion it is better" is better than, "it is better" simply because it properly represents the fact that it is an opinion and people will respect it.

Madman sums it up very well. As I said, a statement without evidence means nothing. It's just a non sequitur. If you present your opinions as if they were fact with no evidence, that's when people tend to get a bit vocal about it.
