Title: SPOOKTOBER THREAD

It's past midnight EST, which means the month of ghosts, ghouls, and the ghastly is upon us, culminating in All Hallows' Eve on the 31st day.

This is my favourite holiday season, post your Halloween waifus, cartoons, special episodes, desktop wallpapers, favourite horror movies, spooky music, and memes. And be sure to vote in October's BOTM!

Less than a week left until the big night. I've watched Monster House, Trick 'r Treat, Scooby-Doo, and Coraline so far this season. Still saving some favourites like the spooky Spongebob eps, Over the Garden Wall, Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, and Stranger Things S2 for later. Also I forgot to mention creepypastas in the OP if anyone's into that. I always like Ted the Caver: http://www.angelfire.com/trek/caver/

Does anyone remember their favourite Halloween candy? Snickers, Reese's and Rockets are top-tier, I also love candy corn and Nerds but never seemed to get any of them

Not really (it's been a while) but I do fondly remember getting together with my friend and little sister after trick-or-treat, dumping our pillow cases full of candy on a big table, and negotiating for what we each wanted. My street would be overrun with kids back then, but then we all got older and the herds thinned. I've had years while passing out the candy where I'd turn out the light and go back in with an hour to go because there was nobody to be seen.

These past few years though, the generation that I used to share the streets with for trick-or-treat now have kids of their own, and the masses are back and I risk running out of candy. I can't have that, though, so once I'm down to just a bag or two (always save the best for last!) the light goes off, the door gets locked, and the candy-fueled gaming binge begins!  :bigsmile:

Happy Halloween everyone, hope you enjoy yourselves on the spooookiest night of the year! I don't think kids really come by my neighbourhood, but I have an emergency supply of four Twix bars ready just in case. I'll also be watching The Halloween Tree and trying Imscared on Steam. True... I carved a pumpkin and made a hole big enough to place my head in it.. My plan? Hide in a bush, but leaving my head out, and when kiddos come near it. BOO!

mate, i had a full-on scary ass grim reaper costume, looked like a statue, and i spooked em and scared the sh** out of them.

Since it's only me at university and of course being an anti-social person, I'm not doing much this Halloween apart from staying in my flat cooking dinner, relaxing this evening and wondering about if I was back home doing pumpkin carving. But I'll leave you guys with a classic Nick Cage clip that happens to fit into the theme of Halloween.

University is the time to socialize! Put yourself in uncomfortable positions. Try new things. Make bad decisions; learn from them. You’ll have plenty of time to be old when you are old.
