Genre blending musicians
« on: May 29, 2012, 01:43:47 AM »
I only listen to one

Carbon Leaf (1992 To Present. First album 1995) Quite a long time for a band & I hope they keep going. They blend: Country, Pop & Rock together for a nice sound

I will post my top 5 faves

Trans-Siberian Orchestra. But only at Christmas.

Also Wasted Penguins. It's somewhere between Trance and Hardstyle.

I used to be a huge Linkin Park fan but since Minutes to Midnight they suck. (Yeah I know many will say they sucked before mtm, but still)
I`m still enjoying the first 2 albums

I hate the new stuff. Going to see them at a festival live and I will raise my middlefinger when the play stuff like burn it down..

AND: did I hear mash ups? like the ones I did on my original yt channel?

Nujabes. Mixes Jazz, Trip Hop and Hip Hop for a fun little blend of music. Shame he had to go so soon.

I would have thought that Opeth would be the obvious multi-genre encompassing band here, since they cover Death Metal, Doom Metal, Jazz, Folk and 70s prog.

Cephalic Carnage mixes Grind with technical death metal and jazz.

Obscura and Cynic are kinda death-jazz too, as well as Atheist.
