Scrap's DSL was broken so he asked me to build his bbeans4 bot. I'm the actual creator of Iron Spaghetti, which led to scrap making Steel Meatball and starting the flail craze.

just kidding. I think it doesn't matter because rules don't have anything about making bot for another guy.

even if it defeats the point of the tournament. But loophole abuse is loophole abuse, and it's a fun part of tournaments.

That totaly is not the spirit of that tournament. it's like entering a DSL bot in an IRL tourney...

I wasn't around for BBEANS 4, so I don't know if I can really judge. I don't think it would have been as bad if Scrap had described the bot he wanted, and Sage built it accordingly, like a ghost-builder of some description. I've no idea if this is real or not, though, I just wanted to poke Naryar with a stick. =P

God damn it sage, if you have regrets or a conscience, you don't try to cheat, trick or lie your way out of stuff.

It is quite obvious your remorse is the reason why you said that. And maybe there are more skeletons in your closet, who knows what will be next ?

Hehe, actually NFX said it: Scrap told me pretty much exactly what he wanted and I just built it to the best of my ability. I figured that it didn't matter that much any more, (if it ever really did) but i remembered it while I was reading my descriptions of RAW fights ("is steel meatball frickin' invincible??") and though it would be entertaining to let the community know.

@nary- what was the first time?

Well, at least for my FSS, the inspiration came not from Scrap Daddy, but from MikeNCR, who was using flails long before BBEANS4.
