Yes, there is no start button, yes, I thought it was blasphemy at the start, and no, I don't give a rat's ass right now. Stop bitching about inconsequential things.
Actually I much prefer having multiple screen and being able to swap between several full screen windows and programs.
The only thing I don't like in Win8... well there are two things, it's that you have 2 different sets of UI for no good reason (they could just keep the Windows UI with all the other screens that Win8 brought), and the fact there's still some of this unmanly "muh security check" bullsh** like in windows 7.
I understand having to check when internet or stuff starts programs without my will... but it's getting ridiculous when I am admin and when I click on some control panel and it asks me if control panel can change the computer's settings. What.
Otherwise I am pretty OK with windows 8. It is a decent system and the several windows with easy switch is a good idea, so are all the other additional menus. Though they could have be done better.
Of course XP > everything else, but xp is dead.
