Title: Problem
Post by: Badnik96 on January 09, 2011, 02:57:39 PM
My computer is currently really screwed up (thanks to 027 :rage), so if I can't get it fixed, then Replica Wars 3 and the 256-bot tourney will have to be canceled (using 027's computer right now, and I can't salvage anything because his comp is low on memory). Sorry guys.

Badnick do you have any spare keyboards? If you do plug one of them in and see if you get any results. If not do you still have F5? (I think its that I may be a bit rusty) If so press it right after you get the first screen and you should get some options. Boot into safe mode and see if you have any keyboard functions there. If so you need to locate the keyboard drivers and update or reinstall.

My computer will either be fixed or rendered unfixable on Saturday. Pray it isn't the latter.

Wow, bummer for you, I hope you get a replacement computer soon.

even if I do, I lose all my copies of RA2, including the 256-bot, RW and MMAI (if anyone remembers that old fossil good for you.), along with all my bots. The only thing I have that isn't lost is the random AI pack and JSL, along with one copy of DSL.

I just barely have enough memory on the computer I'm using to post to have RA2 running (and I needed to clear out a lot of crap) FRAPS would probably not fit, and I have lost all AI i have ATM.

See when you boot up the computer and it asks for your password, do you get a kind of flashing cursor like you do on MS Word, or replying on GTM, telling you where you're typing? Should be a simple vertical line, I think.
