Since the other films list thread seems to be more about films with a narrative and story, and since i dont watch too many hollywood films i figured i might as well make a thread specifically about documentaries since those occupy all of my time on netflix
5. The fog of war - robert mcnamera talks about war on a more philsophical scale, about how the cold war almost destroyed the planet, and how rationality is what led to the cold war
4. Food inc - about how factory farming is bad, environmentally and culturally, u wont want to eat fast food for like a month after seeing this sh**
3. Walmart: the high cost of low price - how walmart drives iut the competition of small town business, and leads to the death of middle america's small mom and pop businesses, oh and its ruining the environment as well
2. Bowling for columbine - my favorite michael moore documentary, about the columbine shooting and what caused the kids to crack
1. Gasland - about hydraulic fracturing (fracking) of natural gas, how its shprt sighted and will lead to the destruction of natural rssources like drinking water, and how this type of gas extractions lead to earthquakes, which may destroy a couple towns where i live (oklahoma, where fracking is a huge industry)
