Hey guys, I just wanted to know which version of photoshop (or any other picture editor) you use. I have photoshop 6, which I found on my computer for some reason. I just started using it a few months ago and now I got the basics down.

Paint.net. The layers tool is incredibly useful if you want to make a complex picture and work on each piece separately.
-
I also use Paint.net, mostly because has layers and is free.
-
I use Photoshop CC 2014 and it was also free

Paint.net for the winzorz

Real men use mother****ing MS.Paint.
AN ARTIST ISNT JUDGED BY WHAT TOOLS HE HAS, BUT BY THE SKILLS HE HAS WITH HIS TOOLS.
-
I used to use mspaint like u, but then i took a disc of photoshop 6 in the disc reader.

I'm absolutely retarded so for rerbert skirns I use jasc paintshop pro 8. It's got me by for about 10 years almost now. :thumbup emergerd. 80% of the mod we're working is fancy textures I've conjured up from crappy photographs.

Well, I have access to Photoshop CS6 when I'm at school which can explain some of those arena skins I've made for the Electric Arena 2 and the Keznorg IGC, but most of the time, I've used MS paint for my bot skins. Some will complain I can do much more with Paint.net (which I'm probably gonna get sooner or later) but as J said, it's how you use the tools given to you.

You can conceivably do most things photos hop can do with Ms paint. It just takes the pencil tool and a lot of patience.

Update ASAP. While there isn't much of a difference between 7.0 and CS 1, the current Adobe suite is miles ahead of 6.
That said, learn everything you can from 6. Once you learn a Photoshop, you'll pretty much be set for all future incarnations (except for all the new stuff, of course).
