Pocono is one of the more interesting tracks. We need less 1.5 mile tri-ovals. They are all the same! All of the unique tracks deserve dates (Pocono, Martinsville, Bristol, Richmond, New Hampshire, Indy, Daytona, Talladega, Darlington, Phoenix, road courses, and maybe even Dover) We need one more road course also. Tracks like Chicagoland, Kentucky, Kansas, Auto Club, Las Vegas, Texas, Charlotte, and Michigan need to be evaluated and whichever one with the worst racing loses a date.

Edit: adding to that, NASCAR technically runs nearly no ovals, they are all tri-ovals, rectangles, triangles, paperclips, etc.

Also, NASCAR doesn't need 5 road races. We have to remember that NASCAR IS an oval series.

By interesting, I mean better than the cookie cutter 1.5 mile ovals. The racing may be a bit better but it's the same thing basically 6 or 8 times per year. That's when it gets boring. Pocono is more of a challenge for the drivers and it is very unique.

People merge onto our highways with more action then Nascar passing on "tri-ovals, rectangles, triangles, paperclips"

Taking a lap to gradually pass someone isnt exciting

Anyone excited about tomorrow's race? Bristol's one of my fave tracks. Once I did a NR2003 truck race at Bristol and the winner was the only car still on the lead lap XD everyone else wrecked at one point (I'll upload some replays at one point)
And only 1 car without sponsorship racing this week. :D S&P's suck

Anyone see qualifying today? Jeff Green (37 car) took a spin, bent up the back end and still came only 2 tenths of making the race. Great job by the team, Jeff should race more :P That run earned him a lot a lot of respect from me.

The Bullring is so awesome.  Wish I had TV.  Will be keeping track of the race online.

There are websites that run live streams. Not sure where but they have been talked about on the iRacing forums.

Wow, Brad's on fire right now. 2 wins in 4 races, and 2 top-3's in between.

Great run by Truex too. Only downer is the news station kept interrupting the race with hurricane updates which stated the obvious every hour for 15 minutes :rage

Tony Stewart and Carl Edwards tied for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, but since Stewart had more wins in The Chase, that means he is the champion.

Was one Hell of a race today.

Seconded. I am really looking forward to this season.

Hopefully Blaney will get a sponsor.  Watching him and his new teammate Reuitimann work together in Daytona will be cool.

Also hoping that McMurray will bust out of his horrible slump from last year. Bleh.

Totally excited to see what happens with Busch in the Phoenix car and AJ in the Penske car.  Two moves I didn't see coming, but are awesome.

Dale Jr better win this year at some point, or people will cry on the streetcorners.

Oh, and Danica... Rawr.  <3 <3 <3

It's going to be a great year!

And there's Aric Almirola in the 43 now.

Hoping Vickers and Ragan can find a ride this year, there's the 23, 32, 52 and 93 rides still open for maybe a partial schedule IIRC

A lot in terms of driver changing and such.

-Ricky Stenhouse will be driving the Sprint Cup 6 for at least the 500

-Danica Patrick will be driving the 10 car for Stewart for a few races

-Clint Bowyer is driving the 15 full time for Waltrip

-Aj Allmendinger moves to Penske in place of Busch

-R3 Motorsports (23 Nationwide team) moves to Cup

-Reutimann is driving for TBR now alongside Blaney

-Aric Almirola is driving the 43 for RPM now

-Kurt Busch is now driving the 51 car for Phoenix Motorsports

-Mark Martin and Michael Waltrip will be sharing the 55 car

-the 52 Nationwide team is moving to cup with no drivers named yet

-Scott Speed moves from the 46 to the 95

Not to mention that they are moving from Carburators to Fuel Injection in the engines.

Biggest tech change the sport has seen in a long time.
