I guess Ragan won't be unemployed at the end of the season like I predicted.   :gawe:

Great race.  I agree!

Im sure the bank statement of the teams will say different..

I only just caught it.. didnt get a good look but it was pretty violent..

I dont really care much for Nascar personally.. it was just on our news due to Ambrose winning..

Wow the track safety standards in Nascar really suck.. the barriers are no way near good enough for cars travelling at that kind of speed..

I admit though.. I have never seen a Nascar circuit race, they look 100% more entertaining as opposed to the normal "no right turn" tracks :P

Generally the standards are better with energy absorbing barriers, etc. but Watkins Glen seems to have neglected that. They made the same mistake Pocono did where you put walls at right angles to where the cars will be heading at them if spun.

This year's race had a catch fence but they almost had a car go out in the same race. All they had was a row of trees.

Sometimes little hills get installed though

ARCA is a lesser series, but if it was main NASCAR, someone would've been killed

Why do people like NASCAR? It's just cars driving around an oval.

because you get to see them race on road courses and basically bump into each other in every corner.

There's a lot more involved than that. You have to watch a race at one of the better tracks (Daytona, Bristol, Darlington) to get it.

Yeah, get rid of Pocono and one of the Texas races.

Yeah, get rid of Pocono and one of the Texas rac.
Im talking about Kansas, Las Vegas, and Kentucky.
Drop Kansas's second race, get rid of Michigan's second race, drop one of Pocono's races.
Enough room for 3 more road courses.
