The thing all these have in common is that they're small changes, a whole new username is probably less likely to be changed.

hercules was a random name that i thought when i was 12, i wanted to change it to the name that i use in most of my games

I feel you bro, chose the name TRB when I got my xbox 360, changed names 6 times since then.

Name changes are pretty highly discouraged, unless there is a good reason for it.

That was GTM before the old RA2 forums shut down (or right after they shut down)
