I have the GT model (Got Took)

Opened my case and board is GA-H170-D3HP ..... sold to me as a Z170 in the Z-170 box, OH WELL, it is still fast and does what I want!

You paid more for less, ACAMS. You might wanna get that back to whatever place you got it from to either get a replacement or a refund of the difference in price.
