True, but mainstream - nowadays, at any rate - is generally comprised of relatively simple, repetitive songs that don't have much lyrical diversity or merit. Compared to something like One, or Stairway to Heaven, the songs that you see in the charts - comparativaly - tend not to be particularly good, at least in the UK.

They are both extremely immature, lack proper musicianship and tends to be extremely predictable.
