There's this site, mp3ornot, which lets you test whether you can recognize high quality (320kbps) from standard quality (128kbps) MP3's. Check it out and boast about your score here.

They sound exactly the same to me.  I gave up after 2.

nope, heard basically no difference, but that's through laptop speakers, so inevitable really.
On my ipod, it's a lot more noticable, thus why i always download 320kbps files nowadays.
