Megas XLR
« on: July 17, 2011, 11:09:24 PM »

ARGUABLY ONE OF THE GREATEST SHOWS CARTOON NETWORK HAS EVER HAD.
And don't say "I missed out on being able to watch this show", or "It didn't air over where I live because of X, Y, and Z"-
[YOUTUBE HAS EVERY EPISODE OF THIS SHOW, and then some]
This show literally had all the qualities of a kick-ass show and really made it enjoyable at the same time.
Plus, Coop is one the greatest main characters ever.

Discuss.

I used to LOOOVE this when I was younger. I remember there was this floating head dude with little arms and legs that always cracked me up every time I saw him.

Especially because they parodied everything.

Coop replaces the EMP grenade with a mini-fridge that just-so-happens to be loaded with pop-rocks and soda.
Best ending ever.

It was pretty good, but only scrapes the surface of the awesomeness Danger Mouse and Ren and Stimpy had imo.

-Great band, hopefully more up soon.

Red & Stimpy was a comedy show.
Megas is both a comedy and an action show, but is more action then comedy.

new shows will never have as good affect of what the old  shows :P
Older shows could get away with more stuff. That's why they kicked ass.

Because we love stereotypes?
Also, I swear, Popeye was the inspiration for the Engineer.

No i just love Popeye (In the non-consesual way) it was an awesome cartoon, and it got a way with things which others can't get away with now.Sad really...

Chicks dig giant robots.

This is probably the second best show featuring giant robots that I've watched. Gurren Laggan is the first.
im just waiting for meganerdbomb to come along and kick things into gear.
