Acid doesn't cut it for me I suppose, but Garage band for Macs always worked very well, does anyone have any good suggestions for music editing software that is either cheap to buy, or I could probably pirate rather easily? ^^

Music Creation Software, Map Creation tech, etc, is all types of software I've been looking to gather for when it comes time to make my stuff become reality, so essentially any program that is versatile is likely to fit into my criteria.

I'm looking to be able to create beats on many different notes, so yeah; any suggestions?

How simple? if I can strike notes on a keyboard with it, and tune that keyboard, I essentially have a large enough expanse of notes to work with to get started, so it would work for now.

/shrugs.

Understood, I certainly don't wish anyone to link me to anything 'questionable' in legal value, I merely was attempting to make it clear how I'm on a very limited Budget with gathering such software, I don't want anyone to link any illegal downloads to things here

I've never heard of that before, I might look into what that means, and if it looks good do it.

As of Mac OS 10.5 Leopard, all Intel Macs (Macs from 2006 and on) can dual boot Windows with a built-in tool called Boot Camp. http://www.apple.com/macosx/compatibility/

Anvil Studio is ok.

FB uses it for the BBEANS music IIRC.
