Right now, there are protests happening just across the river in Oregon. It is late right now (12:06 AM PST) and I have no idea what to make of them, especially because I am not in the protests myself.

I remember when I first saw my home state, Washington, count votes. Initially, all the votes were for Trump, and all I could think was: "Washington, what are you doing? Washington, STAHP!"

IMO it's a bit more complicated than that. I always thought of it as a sexist and xenophobic sun-dried tomato with no prior political experience versus a shady and flip-flopping former senator and secretary-of-state with more than a decade of service under her belt. You can't really reason with thin-skinned racist asshats in the Tornado Alley so I'm laying all of the blame on the protest voters on the swing states. If you are going to try to blame anyone, at least pick non-voters as I'm pretty sure at least over 35% of those who are able to vote and who didn't make a hell a lot more difference than like a couple thousand (thats being generous) votes for harambe.

The gap from New Hampshire (94%) right now is less than a thousand. Anyone who voted for Harambe, Cthulhu, Zoidberg, Goku, or Sonic could have given her just even the much-needed 4 points. The gap in Michigan is around 15k. The gap in Wisconsin is less than 30k. The gap in Pennsylvania is less than 70k. That's 50 points that could have swung the election around.

TBH I still have no idea how Hillary failed to win Florida and Ohio. Not sure if felons were allowed to vote in those states but whatever.

But then again, if a man whose credentials only consist of bankruptcies and WrestleMania appearances can be president, I guess I can immediately apply for a dream job at Steam or something.

In Ohio, felons aren't able to vote. The reason Trump won Ohio was that he targeted those in southeastern Ohio (who are predominantly coal miners and such like their neighbors in West Virginia) and were able to flip the traditionally Democratic area to Republican.

And when I mean support, I mean support the lesser of 4 evils. I don't particularly like him but I think he will be better in terms for the rest of the world due to his foreign policy. Having Russia as a friend rather than a frienemy is better than pissing them off, Hilary. Still wanted Michelle Obama would have probably won it if she had ran instead of Clinton. Libertarians aren't too bad. I will never support weed being legalised though. Green party is ew.

My family is mostly republican. But my dad was travaling and my mom did not like trump so i voted for johnson.
