If you specify the problem with Sony Vegas I might help you out solving it.

Well it's TECHNICALLY illegal, but whatevz. The po-po isn't going to bust down your doors for doing it.

You can't just google serial numbers. thats like, 2007 sh**.
Usually you use a keygen that you can patch through to the trial version of sony vegas.
Download the trial version of sony vegas 12 from here

hope this helps. I didn't test it out, but it worked for me back when i downloaded sony vegas 10.
ummm also Sony pays all antivirus program producers to tell you that "keygen.exe" is a trojan virus. It's not. They're just trying to scare you.

Everything is possible in the Internet. Recent softwares are only available if you buy them. But if you wait a couple of weeks or months, someone will post a pirate version of the software for free in popular download sites.
Also check out this site:

It's my main source of serials. You don't need to download anything. Just search the software you want and look under "serial" list. They just give you serial to copy/paste. Don't trust the "downloads" list. Usually you'll get stuck with surveys or you need to pay or in worse case scenarios viruses. Not all serials work but so far I was not disappointed.
If you need to download software, then here are some very good sites. I would say 90% of their contents are safe to download.

Take another look at their posts now...

mmm.... I think there was a rule I I forgot

Maybe the forum isn't allowed to have pirated stuff in it but I'm pretty sure almost all the community pirates stuff.
Edit: it's kind of a weird rule but it supposedly keeps the forum safe from criticism or more serious problems even though knowing that everyone does a little of piracy. Even downloading RA2 for free is piracy, so yeah...

It's just that I ran into somebody not too long ago who really let loose on me for getting RA2 through GTM.
Domanating, why are you being watched?

Silly people. Instead of posting pirate links, you need to post a link to a pastebin with pirate links inside. Then it's Pastebin's problem.

Domanating, why are you being watched?
Because of those links I posted. It's my first punishment in this forum :ermm:

I apologize, to you and to Sage for getting both of you into this mess.

It's ok. It's my fault for not remembering the rule

I still feel guilty.

I don't want to live on this planet anymore

As I mentioned in the PMs that I sent out, GTM can get into serious trouble for distributing/containing illegal content and it damages our reputation with search engines if they find out that we are linking to sites that promote these activities.
RA2 isn't as big of deal just because none of the companies that were involved in its creation seem to care (I'm sure they are aware). There also aren't any more places to download the trial version of RA2 so you could consider it to be a try-before-you-buy type deal. We could request for them to make it officially freeware but (1) they may not respond and (2) they may ask us to take it down. Even if the latter is unlikely, it would be really damaging to the community.

Don't sweat it guys. I'm not more special than any of you so there's no need for such comments.
I agree Trovaner and I know what it causes. It just never crossed my mind at the time because it's a casual thing for me to send such sites to friends of mine when they need some help with computer related stuff. I simply forgot

Says the "Justice Incarnate".
Anyways, what I do when finding software is I install a bunch of them (i.e 3 or 4), then uninstall (not delete, use windows uninstaller) all except for the one that works best. Another tip, pay close attention to the installation options. A lot of installers will try to add something stupid, like a PUP; always use custom installer.
