I don't think I am evil anymore
« on: January 04, 2011, 05:28:15 AM »
Or more precisely, the cold, rational and uncaring Neutral Evil sort, not the Stupid Evil of course (though sometimes i am, sadly)

(Sorry for the attention whoring thread and for being an hypocrite (hey, evil), I just felt the need to post this here. tl;dr post coming)

-I do not understand at all the concepts of selfless thought or devotion to something, unless it is yourself
-I am empty of compassion for other beings excepted if they can help me in any way
-I do not feel any regret, heck when my parents will die the first thing that will come to mind will be either "Bah, why this is bothering me ?" or "MOAR MONEY!"
-I have no given respect for laws, only respecting if it can benefit me or if it is logic
-I do not feel guilt and hate to say I'm sorry
-I do not feel any respect for people I am "supposed" to respect
-I am arrogant and elitist
-I support many ethically dubious viewpoints
-I am a cynic
-I liek spikes, volcanoes, lava, storms and other things one is not "supposed" to find pretty
-I attempt to practice my evil laugh too often, and do not find it omnious enough
-I like to pet cats (especially black ones) while thinking
-I often dress in dark colors and would wear a black hood if it didn't made you look stupid
-As qualities, I like humor, violence and pride in a girl (among others)
-My dreams are very weird
-Though I rarely get into fights, I do enjoy fighting probably more than I should
-I criticize much more than giving praise
-And most of all, I am happy and/or proud with most of the character traits above.

Is that a problem and should I go true neutral, or can I live my life as Neutral Evil and be happy about it ?

Dude, you have a problem. Anyone can have those traits, and then be proud of them. It's called an ego. You aren't evil. Just...not quite evil.

Meh, I have same/similair traits as all of those you listed, with the exception of no regret, and practicing my evil laugh (which is more strange than evil TBH).

Who cares if you're "evil", it's all relative anyway, do whatever the heck you want, it's your life not others, you shouldn't care what they think really when it comes to your personality at the very least.

Here, I had an urge to do something violent to both IRW and Sparkey, but repressed it as illogical. Proof ?

You're NOT evil. Just defensive, egoistic, cynical, and knowledgeable. Is that evil? I don't think so.

What's evil about that?
The urge to commit violence is understandable, it can be great fun, repressing it as illogical just shows you're not stupid enough to think you can actually commit acts of violence through a computer screen.

Resorting to threats of violence to prove you are right is evil.

That made me laugh, especially because I like comedic sociopathy and slapstick. Another proof.

Egoistic is certainly evil, in an absolute definition of good and evil. Cynical can be.

You ain't alone bro, yet people pretty much consider me as an awesome friend and classmate.

These traits can pretty much be found on young people with somewhat crappy authority figures. You won't see many dumb, pampered kids with this kind of attitude.

It's all relative, it's just a different outlook on things isn't it?
Morals just hold people back, if abandoning them is "evil" then so be it, but really, I could care less about whether society judges acts "evil" or not.

Maybe because YOU do feel empathy towards others ?

And are generally being nice and positive as well ?

Nope, but I have read about it. Pah, he is a joke ! That's pretty much cute an harmless "evil" so it will not damage the precious little "innocent" minds of the kids !

As we have leanrt from multiple james bond and austin powers films.

Huh, moral relitivism is an actual "thing".
Pleasant surprise.
Still Nar, do you think there's a difference between being called a villain and being called evil?

Unless you have actually sat down and thought about doing evil things, like killing kittens and other such things, I would not consider you evil.

Oh crap. You have, haven't you.

Killing kittens... well, if I have no other source of food available, so be it, but well...

And yes, I do have many evil thoughts, some of them that might make you shudder. But I usually don't do them as they are mostly stupid and evil at the same time. Or just not practical or would result in me getting in prison.

See? Part of evil is actually being determined to make the lives of others miserable with no heed of the consequences.
