Actually, in number 1, the sheer patheticness of an unfunny punchline is what makes it funny. "I thought it was, but it wasn't"

Number 2 is just instinctively funny for some reason.

I'm gonna guess that the little one is Hard Bot and brown one is Enigma. And I love that one. (He's holding Lil Dog from the original ai, for those who don't get it)
