Title: GTM circle of friends

Just a random thread I made for fun. Talk about user's you became friends with in some form or another (In mine and Badnik's case, fantasy robots) and what situation the friendships in now. Sounds confusing? Oh well

I'll set the ball rolling.

GK: GK was the first person I knew coming onto this forum (We knew each other on the FRA forums and the Robot Wars Wiki) We've talked a few times here and there and are generally good friends. Nowadays I don't speak to him as much, prehaps I should send him a message.

Jonzu95: One of the first people to greet me on the forums, we've had a few bad spots in our friendship, but I can honestly say that he is a good friend of mine. We don't normally communicate through GTM, choosing MSN instead

GoldenFox93: This friendship I like to call "The Rollercoaster Frienship" we've had few ups and downs. (E.g. The anti story time thing of trying to return it to it's former glory and a few happenings on the ARC forum) but we've managed to work through them, the way he communicates to me when resolving a situation between us makes me realise how good of a person he is. In fact, he's the one person on this forum who i have the most in common with. (Young Ones, railways and Street Fighter to name a few)

Badnik96: This friendship only really developed/started during the fall of 2010 when ARC Armageddon was annouced on the ARC forums, we don't talk to each other that much but we share the same interest in fantasy robot tournaments and he will correct me when I'm wrong.

I would list them all, but that would take all night. I'll edit this list soon, so the honourable mentions are.

Preytor_4, Madman3, Chaosmancer, SOTG, Gazea2, S.T.C, IRW, NFX, Doublestrand and King Mushroom.

Well my circle of friends is predominantly the Troll Patrol, (name coined by team nine) which consists of Mr ASS, Chris, Ty4er, and HA. All of which i like to talk to in skype, and all are fine purveyors of lelz which is what I enjoy on this forum. Kill is also in that circle as well and as we all know he's mai waifu <3 I also talk to madman since he's the only other person I can talk to about teh metulhz so yeah.

I guess I'm pretty cool with the majority of this community nowadays, but as far as off-forum relationships go I've been good steam friends with Noodle, Nate, FOTEPX and TeamX for a while now.

Yeah, I've done "That kind" of RP with him. His fetishes and enthusiasm scares me a bit sometimes, but meh, better than being bland and boring is what I say.

I'm pretty good friends with Resetti I think due to the fact we do interact a lot on the forums and stuff. VEVO yeah we're not that close but we are connected in some way I guess. Me and Jonzu are friends too but I don't RP with him or anything. And of course Gaz, Ty and the other guys I talk to on Skype :D

Enigma because he's my brother in thrash/death/black metal, Scorpy because he's the prog guy.
Honorable mentions are Marty, Preytor, Ty, Craaig, Nary. I also consider some of the uber builders like Urjy, Ouncy and 123 buddies, mostly because they're the most reasonable people of the forum.

Best buds forever (5eva) = ty and Skit. They're awesome friends and never fail to put a smile on my face. And they put up with whining. A lot of whining. <3
Good friends = Anyone else in the skype group. Badnik, Marty, Craaaaaig, 09090909122409101, HA, DS, Chaos, FOXPET, plazmic, Scourge, NFX... etc etc. They're also really good people and the lulz they come up with is amazing.

...am I allowed to list any more? :P

I won't call friends people I just know over the internet. I believe friendship is more than just a written-word relationship. Nevertheless, I have found quite a bit of people which I am fond of there.

Madman: because he's evil and so we're best buddies Naah. It is true we share several character traits (fondness for reason, ham, tendency to be blunt), so we're pretty close. Besides, I find him both amusing and mostly reasonable.

And anyone who thinks we're enemies because we regularly shout at each other and predict our respective demises is an idiot.

Urjak: Because he's cool. Because he's patient, reasonable and always stays calm. Because he's an example of a very fine builder, despite me beating him quite often :P

Pwnator: Also because he's cool. He's also an awesome builder, funny, gives good advice, and is not afraid to be blunt and to whack clueless newbies where the need arises. He's also too soft, but I cannot seek perfection in my allies, can I ?

Scrap Daddy: Great builder, funny, epitome of coolness, and maybe because he helped me when I was a newbie. Also, for his totally awesome persona, because no one is as manly as Scrap. Also less soft than pwn, which is a good thing.

System32: Has awesome ideas, is a great analyzer and generally very insightful. While not interested into ultimate efficiency, his building is also quite original, and we can communicate pretty well. Also what I like is that he does not sugarcoat what he says, which sometimes results in him being a tad too violent for good communication, but hey, no one's perfect and I'm pretty damn sure i've done the same. Also, he's Scottish, he can be excused.

R0B0SH4RK: Has been a pal for long, and while we may not agree on most things, we've had enough discussions for me to admire him. Also, he's Canadian (automatic coolness: yes, pun intended), funny, chill, and an awesome builder. Too bad he doesn't builds anymore and generally doesn't post anymore, excepted on hockey or to counter what I say.

Honorable mentions go to Jack Daniels, Clickbeetle, Kill343gs, Doomkiller, LincK and my fellow Frenchmen.

Ice Age 1 was hilarious, Ice Age 2 was meh, and I'm betting the two others are relying on overused jokes and tropes to try and make us laugh. Hell I wonder if Scrat is still funny.

The franchise is dead, and they're just milking an elder, dying cow to make money.

I disagree. The Ice Age 4 was the best movie of them so far. It was done very well and I liked that there are always new cool character

Too me, 1 was the best. I preffered 3 over 2 but I just couldnt get into 4 that much. There has just been way to many characters. Why didnt the snow monkey gut Sid instantly? There was no tension cause you knew that the franchise had become too family oriented so there wasnt going to be any deaths or injuries of a good guy. Also Peaches social life was really dull. I didnt really like the little runt molerat guy. I thought he was week and I didnt understand where any of his family was. The two other rodent things (Crash and Braindamage or whatever) were as painfully stupid just like in the last two movies. One more thing, where did all the mamoths come from!?!?!? In movie number 2, Manny could barely find one other. Now they have these little roller skate clubs for the whole species. I also hate the voice actors. Drake, Nicki Minaj, J Lo, I hate all 3. Those are just my thoughts on the movie. I don't dislike kids movies or Ice Age, I just thought this one didnt live up to the other worldly experience of first one.

I was arguing over you considering your point to be advice. I just disagreed with the reasoning behind you labeling it as that.
Please don't label me as instigating as I simply disagreed with the logic (or lack thereof) and idea.
Also, surely you are attempting to instigate with the bolded statement? Ideally if you are trying to end something you'd avoid causing potential drama.
I personally do not wish to end this argument until I've won it or lost in an overwhelming fashion, so too bad :P
