aside for being a pirate I dont think you have much options

unless you sidestep the limitations like I do for mine.. using programs like flashand converting them/ exporting them as movie files and just using WMM to compile them together

I have used Vegas Pro 8, Vegas 7, Movie Maker, Video Edit Magic, etc... Vegas Pro 8 is what I'm using right now for my halo montage.

Movie maker actually isn't terrible if you know how to use it. It's very simple and you aren't going to get super-professional results, but as a simple video editor it gets the job done.
