Well, my parents say i can get a new desktop computer.
My budget is currently £500 but I'm sure I could get them to pay a bit more. (I reckon £600 is the LIMIT though)
I genuinely don't know where to start looking.
I'm looking for something that can play recent PC games to a bearable standard (i.e Can run them smoothly but not necessarily at their full potential). It would be nice to have a good sized hard-drive (1TB sound about right?) and a decent graphics card would also be good.
But tbh I don't know what I should be looking for or whether these specs are realistic for this price range.
Could someone point me in the right direction in terms of where to look?

What happened to this year's new one?
-
Lenovo or Asus really come to mind for what you want.
-
It's a temporary PC just so I can do school work. It's Only got 2GB of RAM and a 320GB hard-drive.
@RR: They look quite expensive.
-
Are you able to build it yourself or do you need it right away?
-
I could make it myself, this current PC is just about fine. Is it that difficult though?
-
It is not that hard to build a computer yourself aslong as you know what you're doing.
-
Well, I don't :P
OK, how does this look?

Erm... Small? 19"?
Just hook it up to your tv via vga cable.
-
That is one option, but it's kinda awkward with the position of my TV.
-
Can you not move it?
-
You should see SM's TV's, there's no way he can move 'em.
-
why go small with a desktop??
-
Because I haven't got room for a bigger screen?
