I need help uploading a Html file to my webites

I can't figure out how to upload a html file to my websites. I'm trying to use Google Webmaster tool to verify my sites to make sure their ok but i can't figure out how to upload the dam file .

I've tried that, and when I try to verify it with Webmaster I get an error. Copy and paste it where, your answer was to vague?

I use FTP Surfer to upload files to my site.  Very easy and intuitive to use.  Of course, I don't know if you're trying to upload HTML files via FTP or some other method...

Ya I'm going to have to talk to my host, becuase I looked at every icon on my uploader tool and I couldn't find anything that has to do with uploading html files. I'll check that FTP Surfer program out .
