Title: Epic cartoon shows thread
Post by: Hard Bot on May 13, 2012, 06:48:59 PM: This is a thread for cartoon shows that are AWESOME, such as Spongebob SquarePants and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. (Personally I don't like MLP.) I also have a poll up too.

Keep in mind that show had 2-3 animators.

^If you haven't seen it, it's literally the laziest cartoon ever made. For example, they have 5 two-second scenes of spidey swinging around and just use those the enitre show. Even Hanna-Barbera was extremely lazy, with static bodies and just the mouth moving most of the time. Not to mention the plots on the 5 million shows were the SAME DANG THING duighduyguadsd
Pretty sure it was NINE animators I saw on the credits on Spidey67. What the heck?

Even stuff like the 1950s Popeye had pretty good animation. The 30s Popeye was just awe-inspiring. Seriously, they had 2 guys doing the whole thing and they were doing stuff like 3D backround changes.

Naruto is pretty much beginner anime and has slowly started to kill itself simply by existing as long as it has, making the last seasons a real drag.

GURREN LAGANN!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I got a second pick it would be Popeyes the Sailor Man.

For me MLP is a lot more to do with the fan productions than the show itself. Just off the list I will vote for Courage, Billy and Mandy, Tom and Jerry, and Samauri Jack before I vote MLP.

Also, when you say Dragon Ball Z, do you literally mean Dragon Ball Z, or Dragon Ball Z Kai..... Cuz the old one is like 6 episodes of charge up snooze fest.

But I think they ruined it by making Dan's anger justified in every episode - Dan is supposed to be a paranoid lunatic, but well everything is out to get him. That's why I don't feel bad that Dan vs. lost to My Little Pony in that December Madness thing last year.
