so i have two screens set up with my gtx 460 graphics card. If i set them to horizontal span mode, i can play call of duty 4 with both monitors, but the problem is the center of the screen where the gun's aimdownsites/scope in is right in the split of the monitors. That is not good at all. is there anyway i could play the game with the monitor on my right being the center view, and the secondary monitor on the left by an extended view to the left in game?

No. that's like cheating xD Peripheral vision on a FPS. psh

doesn't feel good when ur playing against a cheater, but when you are the cheater itsalgoood.
imagine how useful it would be for search and destroy

I could see it being used well for things like TF2- you'll always know where those bastard Spies are who keep stealing your briefcases :P
-
That sounds epic and all; but FPS games do not support it.

Or in BC2, to see who's putting C4 on your M-Com station!

uhh ya they do, its just better with 3 monitors...

They might support the use of multiple monitors, but he was asking if you could set it up to extend your viewing area.
If I understood him, you normally see '''not this[this]not this''', and he asked if he could extend only the left side, giving his view a look of '''not this[this][not this]'''
While they support multi monitors, I don't recall them supporting peripheral vision.

Eureka! Idea for portal 3- dual screen mode, both screens used when no active portals and switches screens each time you go through a portal!
