The demos you uploaded earlier reminded me more of Children of Bodom (Beau-dom?) than anything, but the live performance seemed to have a little A Perfect Circle mixed in with some pretty standard modern metal.
I liked the guitar solo, I may go as far as to call it beautiful (or beau as they say in French). You seem to like your double pedal too.

I agree with you that "Abandon Sanity" seems kinda... immature(?) for a serious band, but my buddy's band is called "StrangeFruit" which is even worse for a metal/hard rock group. Unfortunately I suck at naming though, so I can't help you

The riff sounds so much more awesome live. I only watched the beginning and I like it. Thrashier than I expected too.

Of course, the sound was recorded on a average camera and the mix wasn't perfect, so it's not gonna sound great. This was our 4th show, and the guitarists had troubles playing their solos with all those people getting their hands in the way >.> The downpicking is a problem, but he knows about it and has been working to double-pick.

I do like my double pedal, but I try to variant the rhythms more than just straight 32nd notes. It is sorta a staple of metal music tho.

Remember, the mp3 is a computer version with no vocals. Will sound much better when we record it with real instruments.

I feel compelled to tell that anecdote about the only member of ZZ Top who did not have a beard being called Frank Beard.
