Hey, I just re-designed my website and I would like to know what you guys think of it. Here's the link:
http://nclabs.org/ (http://nclabs.org/)
I'm still working on the logo so you can ignore that :)
-
I think I would look better with a background.
-
Make the main colors black, orange, and purple. They fit you.
-
I have made heavy dark, orange and blue designs in the past (http://tukui.org/blog/ (http://tukui.org/blog/)), but for my site I like it clean, minimalistic and readable.
Also, you must know I'm a 16 year old (professional) programmer and this is going to be my portfolio, I need it to be professional to show the maturity my birth date doesn't.
-
It may just be the fact that I'm using Black Rain as my default forum skin, but the white seems a tad bit blinding.
-
Looks nice NC.
-
Too colorful IMO, and too bright.
-
AHHHH IT'S TOO PROFESSIONA-*explodes*
The background could use a darker shade, though.
Also, typo on the Requirements section: "...they are required to see this site as intended."
And your site won't look professional even if there's a single expletive on it. :P
-
Neat, I would add a touch of colour though.. just subtle not blinding but makes it more inviting then a newspaper..
Watermarked colours or tinted colours might work best as they wont overpower the rest of it..
-
What is your website actually about. Looks good though

What is your website actually about.
This site hosts various articles, and a blog where I publish my daily life and experiments on the computer (not yet). On this page you can read about the formatting and requirements of this site. If this is the first time you visit NC Labs then reading this page is recommended.
-
well my site sure does suck.
Oddly enough they're quite similar.
-
The 'articles' li in the menu wraps around to a new line. Chromium 14 64-bit, Linux.
-
Seems fine to me.

Yeah, still working on the menu (the logo is not finished so it's temporary replacement is bugging up the menu) :)
-
You can always make the menu a separate layer to avoid all that hassle.
-
Not sure what you are talking about 123.
Anyway, I did the logo and fixed the menu (I think): http://nclabs.org (http://nclabs.org)
-
Now I had the time to sit down in front of my computer I quickly whipped up some food for thought ;)

Nice, but the boxes would have to be greyscale ofcourse :trollface
-
Then rename it to Monochrome Land :P
-
hai guise can you fix my site too? http://q3k.org (http://q3k.org)
