Nah, MOP isn't the best Metallica song riff wise, I'd say Damage Inc. is slightly better.
People know my opinion on Nu-metal so I shall not comment on Prophets.

Most of the riffs in this are pretty decent.

Noooooo way, Damage inc is to thrash contemporary, MOP's main riff is more unique.
Plus, DOWNPICKING ONLY!!!!1!!!1!!!9!!!

Anyway, for sheer emotion and epicness, the space dye vest riff repeated through awake...

Then there's the harmonic riff at the beggining of tornado of souls, another brick in the wall's famous riff, my personal favourite 'tallica riff from to live is to die, the main riff from evile's hundred wrathfull deitys, the list goes on of course...
