It's me again. Put down your torches and hear me out XD
Does anyone else here besides me write/used to write fanfics? It's something I've been getting into for the last couple of weeks. I have finished a few stories and have a few others underway
So yeah, talk about fanfiction here.

I'll bite. Back in 1999-2001 (or so) I used to write fanfiction. This was back when I was trying out writing fiction and narratives instead of just writing humor. I graduated out of it pretty fast. IMO, fanfiction is pretty amateurish. I can be done well, but it's still held back by the fact that it's fanfiction. It's technically not a wholly original composition, however being able to use premade characters and premade environments to experiment with writing narrative is incredibly helping for learning how to make the next step into original characters and original worlds; it certainly helped me out.
Before you ask, though, no I don't have any stories of mine to share. The originals and their backups were destroyed.

John Stalvern waited. The lights above him blinked and sparked out of the air. There were demons in the base. He didn't see them, but had expected them now for years. His warnings to Cernel Joson were not listenend to and now it was too late. Far too late for now, anyway.
John was a space marine for fourteen years. When he was young he watched the spaceships and he said to dad "I want to be on the ships daddy."
Dad said "No! You will BE KILL BY DEMONS"
There was a time when he believed him. Then as he got oldered he stopped. But now in the space station base of the UAC he knew there were demons.
"This is Joson" the radio crackered. "You must fight the demons!"
So John gotted his palsma rifle and blew up the wall.
"HE GOING TO KILL US" said the demons
"I will shoot at him" said the cyberdemon and he fired the rocket missiles. John plasmaed at him and tried to blew him up. But then the ceiling fell and they were trapped and not able to kill.
"No! I must kill the demons" he shouted
The radio said "No, John. You are the demons"
And then John was a zombie.

I wrote an MLP fic once. My goal was to make this big overarching soap opera, while being witty like Arrested Development, and eventually throw an OC into the mix. I finished hte first chapter and then realized I had no idea where I was going with it. I was also hampered by the fact that I can't write emotional dialogue very well.

I read the occasional MLP fanfiction. I've read one or two Pokemon fanfics too. Some of them are actually good (mostly the ones that involve May and Misty in hot lesbian sex).

Pinkie Pie was a baker's daughter for fourteen years. When she was young she watched the space ponies and said to dad "I want to be on the ponies daddy"

"This is Rainbowdash" the radio crackered. "You must fight the bronies !"

Made some minor adjustments for you, speeling errors are, of course, intentional.

No actually if I had to pick one from today's MLP it would be Fluttershy. I was a fan of the 1980's show/toys/etc, but back then when I was a kid it wasn't exactly "cool" to be a boy who liked MLP. I don't remember my favorite pony from the 80's, actually. I watched the show on weekends, alone, and dared not ask for any toys.

I don't really care what anybody's "favorite" is, I respect the fact that in any show/etc there are a number of favorites.
