I just watch whichever one  I watch. Generally go for the English dub, but I am currently watching the English sub of Fate/Zero (mainly because it had the most episodes out when I was first searching to watch it). Besides, I have found that both Japanese and English voices on animes can be annoying at times.

Ergo Proxy, Ghost in the Sheck: S.A.C., Cowboy Bebop, Gurren Lagann, Full Metal Alchemist, Samurai Champloo, Black Lagoon, and Darker than Black are probably my favorite anime.

really? you like Gurren Lagann too? i'm bedazzled. for me the anime's confusing.

One word: Kamina

I   guess it depends on your taste.  I usually prefer dubs, but there have   been animes that were so badly voiced that I had to switch over to the   subbed version.

Likewise, it's mostly older animes though. Admittedly, the Japanese dub of TTGL makes GIGAAAA DURIIIIILLLL BREAKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sound a lot cooler than in the English version.

I - and this is stupid of me to admit but what-freaking-ever -  am suckered in by 'cute' voices so I follow certain actresses from show to show. I'll watch dub or sub, depending on the cast. Monica Rial or Cherami Leigh will usually get me to watch a dub, but if Kanae Ito, Aky Toyasaki or Rie Kugimiya (especially Kugimiya) are in it? Sub all the way. For example: I usually like Luci Christian's work but when she dubbed Elsie in The World God Only Knows she had no chance since Kanae Ito nailed that role the first time around.

Right now I'm watching Acchi Kochi (Kaori Fukuhara and Rumi Ookubo are in that one) and Upotte (can't miss an Iori Nomizu performance).

Berserk is one anime I had to watch subs because the English voices were terrible. Also, on the topic of Berserk, it was indeed many, but it had the worst ending of any anime I have ever seen, like good god why?
