front runners are.. (IMO)

Broken down into large areas (so no small stuff)

Vertigo - successfully hosting a tournament / pretty good builder
SKBT - provided lots of help and advice / underestimated builder / putting together the BBAI pack
Gaz - putting together the RA2INBOW pack / pretty good builder

notable thing to hurt Gaz is his tournament isnt doing very well... I think SKBT tops the list myself but any of the 3 would be deserving.

My pick's Marty. :P
My above post explains everything about everything.

I was actually gonna say the same G.K
SKBT and vertigo in particular are very good builders, but I love MM building style.

I have to say Vertigo is the best newcomer of 2010. Really.

Awards aren't strictly given on performance alone, especially ones that involve bot building. The awards tend to go to the people that have built the most original and creative robots over the year, such as 123, Joe and Click. Ounce, Pwn and Nar tend to do well in tournaments, but I'd say the former three were the better group of builders, personally.

I need to contribute more.  I don't think that grid thing was enough for any nominations. :gawe:

FOOL, HOW IS JOEY BETTER THAN ME ?

lolz

I disagree a bit though..

originality wins awards
competitive wins tournaments

but it doesn't make me a better builder.. just a more creative one then Nary..

I focus more on tournament awards and BOTM's then winning matches in tournaments.. the only exception would be BBEANS 6.. I tried to go a little more generic but it resulted is an ok robot that didnt win awards XD

If only I wanted it, I would destroy you on your own ground. The one of creativity, I mean.

Hehe, thanks Joe. :)

My tournament videos will be up soon.

So when will the voting start?

G.K.: I can most likely do the signature badges again this year.

There's no way that I will win anything, seeing as I have contributed jack-sh** for the year and a half that I have been on GTM. Hell, I can't even build a decent bot.

Good luck to the rest of you, though

Edit: I made an example of what the signature badges will look like this year.

I improved them quite a bit. Still need a few tweeks, though.
