It seems like Kritical Mass was bare metal... but it was a dark colored metal.
 
I've seen a webpage for the robotics team that built Kritical Mass that had all kinds of nice information and some pictures, but I have no idea what the url was.

Yes, I've actually been sitting on it for the past 6 months, and I didn't make the connection till now.  I thought I posted a picture of it, but I guess not.  When I get around to it, I will, but in the meantime, here's a video of it:

I have seen one episode in Season 2, There was these bots: Ill Tempered Mutt, Wizard of Sawz, Mechacidal Maniac & Shannoynigan (I dont find Shannoynigan's picture, That's weird...)
