I have been making a few replicas lately, and have found a webpage that has pictures of the bots from all three seasons of Robotica. So I am wondering, who would be interested in a Robotica replica pack?

Could I have that link to the pictures? I've done a replica of PSHHHHT! and am hoping to do more robotica bots, except I can't find any good pictures.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I can build better than LRA2, and I know how to skin.

Although I don't know how to AI, but I am hoping somebody could help with that.

Been trying to replicate Flexy Flier for months. Gave up two weeks ago.

I can imagine Flexy Flier would be hard to make a replica of.

I'm sticking mainly to the simpler one to start. I've got Malvolio done, and Spring Breaker still needs the skin finished, but thats all i have started for now.

By the way, does anyone know where to find pictures of Spring Breaker? I have only been able to find two pictures, and neither of them were very good.

I would be interested in making an AI pack as I was going to do it before but im not exactly familiar with robotica, but based on those pictures I know a couple, Whyatica and Panzer ones I know of quite well

Ive always wanted to make a replica pack. But ive never really made an attempt at it so im defiantly in. If you want to learn how to AI look around ive seen a couple topics about it.

I tell you what is everyone wants to build robotica replicas and send them to me I can put them all in a DSL 2 mod (AI ones that people cant) and make a nice UI mod for it to but i wont be able to do any work on it for a bit due to my current tournament.. but its an option is anyone is interested. It will be a group thing so all names of those that help out will be in the credits

great your replicas are really good, Im mainly doing it because

I wanted to make an AI pack
I like modding the UI
Im a Whyachi fan and want to make Whyatica :smiley:

but yeah this is open to anyone who wants to submit replicas (hang on to them for now) and I think I want to work on this a fair bit with HurricaneAndrew since it was not only your idea but you seem to know a heap about robotica

We should start making a list of Robotica bots that people have already done/are working on, so that we don't end up with duplicates. Andrew, maybe you could post the list on the first post, and update it as people add new ones. All I can contribute to the list is PSHHHHT!, and I can just reskin Tricerabot to make Juggerbot. What does everyone else have?

was Robotica only heavyweights ? or did it have lower classes too ? if not will it be 3 heavyweights per team? also didn't panic attack compete in robotica ? we could use the DSL replica

No, i dont think Panic Attack entered Robotica, i watched the whole series like, 3 times (all 3 series)
I may be able to do a couple of bots, what with my reskinning talents, how bout i do JuggerBot 1 & 2, Ill Tempered Mutt and Kritical Mass? (I have an idea for his disc!)
So, what are we using it from, stock, dsl? (I may be able to contribute some components, say like small little motors and forever lasting batterys)

I got Sewer Snake, Stinger (couldn't make it do the overhead thwack), Gemini, Mousetrap (a bit short, though), and Root Canal.

But these are Robot Wars replicas, though (I think).

DSL 2 would be better with a larger range of components that can be used as well as additional arenas and the like
