Hey everyone. Wassup? I used to work on a Robot Wars AI mod way back when, and it went over pretty good. I've gotten requests to release my updated bots (seen in this YouTube video (http://youtu.be/NOdbBFpty50)), so I am. The only catch is that my parts list is so bulky and ugly and the bots use so many tiny or custom parts that I couldn't figure out what was and wasn't needed. Therefore I just bundled up my whole stupid components collection and am shipping it with the AI bots.
It's been years since I put the bots together so I don't honestly remember what all I used in them, but they still work good. I'd love to know if the pack works for anyone.

I found the problem, you need the 6-bot choosebot_cell.gib file in the UI/exhibition folder because Team Casino has 5 bots. You can find it in RFS AI 1.2 I think.

No, team casino has 3 bots, the 5 bots thing is an error.

Is the M2 Replica in there the same one that was shown in the video for your 1st RW AI Pack?
I remember there being an M2 Replica in that video but i was dissapointed (A little bit) when it wasn't in the actual pack.

Has it been nailed down what I need to fix in the pack? Do I need to pack it with the choosebot_cell.gib file, or would it work if I just removed the erroneous 5-bot listing from team 1?
Oh and about an AON AI pack, I could probably pack up an AON1 pack, but the AON2 pack is kind of under wraps while I try to continue the video series.

Thanks mate- it looks quite good, just the angle connectors I'm a little concerned about- just that they're in a vulnerable position and quite easy to break. Other than that, it looks pretty good, I'd say.

Ok I fixed the full pack with the updated team file, and packed up the teams file itself for those that already have the rest of the mess.

Just trying it out now... My problem was i was not allowed to pick ai bots for singleplayer, when ever I tried it stopped respondingr. Im not sure this will help but ill have a go!

Can you try extracting this archive into your RA2 folder? It's not ideal but it'll help me isolate the issue. I'm kind of grasping at straws here because it looks like it should be working.

Seriously, is this for Stock or DSL? I extracted all the files to Stock folder, and game crashes when I start up RA2.

The files should all be copied over a stock Robot Arena 2 game. The .cfz files in the root directory (this is very important) and the other files in the directories they're named for. I also released the two patches, so grab them too and let me know if it still gives you fits.

Uh, what does De-Formed mean in this sense?
Firestorm has turned invertible, walrus has now got a rammer underneath so it cant move, widthing 2 is NOT invertable as its shell goes about 2 meters up.

Which RW robots are in the pack already though, and how are the teams laid out? (3 robots or 6 in each team?) I'll need to see in order to choose which ones to include.

Come to think of it, I may also try my hand at improving some of the reps slightly as well. Don't get me wrong, they are very good for Stock, but some do have a few inaccuracies (IE. The writing and lack of a srimech on 13 Black, Thermidor 2's face not looking quite right, Chaos 2 being too large), which I might try to rectify.

That's an easy fix, you just need to adjust the nose math thing in the bindings.
