We have indeed confirmed our bot list and are working hard on what we already have permission to use. The initial release will feature over 100 bots (not including the planned expansion pack!) so I hope you can appreciate the pure scale of the project.

Planned expansion pack I am intrigued, curious to know more aha? Is it just going to be one big one or a few small ones (eg focusing on different companies or time periods) sorry I'm a nosey sod. :)

We're hoping to release 1 mega-expansion and a few 1-team expansions too. All will be revealed at the right time.

What exactly are the point in expansions? Are they worth small amounts of money, unfitting with the rest of the pack, or released later to keep the pack exciting and relevant?

One of the bigger things is putting a defined final bot list on the main pack so it doesn't become a perpetual development cycle.

That's a good way to look at it. You could also say it's a way the team can do ideas that they wanted to but never made the eventual release.

Wham's work was incorporated into the mod, in some places improved. Some bits may not be seen for permission reasons but I imagine a lot will remain.

Either way, it'll take a bit of work and knowledge of RA2 to simply 'add' bits from that to the new mod, and we'd recommend not to do it for balance reasons, and bots might not fit in terms of skin or scale.
