Are you going to do a few more RW TV show replicas after this or are you just focusing on rw live replicas now (a lot to ask for I know, just curious)

EDIT: curious, will the house robots weigh more than the competitors? Or will they weight about the same?

How did you overcome lag trouble w/ bots over 800kgs?  I find that they take longerto load so I always cheat thwir weight down

It was more than quite lethal, it was scary. And it came 4th in 2012. Unfortunately it's non-existant now
I wouldn't go so far as to say everyone has... there are marks from NST and DB10, but Flow does have his initials milled into the arm

RL has a flipper too but every video ive seen its rarely been used

It does, where as the pit is painted in the normal chevron, the flipper is painting more like an arrow.

I've added a few to the list on the last page but at the moment I'm wanting to get the RW Live competitors out of the way since there is only so many of them. Then myself and Daleksec7 will crack on with the remaining classic robots and We'll both fill there rest of the space up with feathers.

Yes they will, but not by much. Shunt, Dead Metal and so on will way between 1500 and 2000kg where as Major Damage will probably weight about 2500 to 3000kg as the sheer size of it will make it hard enough to flip!

I don't really have that problem, it takes longer to load robots with loads of components as opposed to one with about 4 excluding the drive, wheels, battery and receiver. but some robots with the 2048 pixel skinned components take a bit longer like Ripper so despite my best efforts, I'm going to have to half the texture size.




Taking advantage of my week off work, I've made the first robot for today... Dave Weston's beloved featherweight, :P Satanix!

Also, I remember you were looking into Sewer Snake and Luzifer a while back. Do you still have plans to include those robots, or does the RW contract prevent you from using them?

Yeah, he did. It's a solid centimeter thick blade of titanium, I'm hardly equipped to work that kind of strength :P
He used to own Flow, there were two versions of it before the one I have, this was the first:

Weighed in at 19kg and still only had 1/10th of this Flow's full power. The second one was similarly massive and heavy, but never fought:

Jarvis, Jesus Christ was it the one going absolutely mental in the first fight

You mean the one that made Annihilation hit the Robots Live arena roof? Yeah, that's it. It ran 2 Bürkert valves to fire the flipper (all other feathers like Explosion and Defector use 1) on 50 bar for twice the flow, hence the power. The setup was f*cking heavy though, and the robot ended up 7kg overweight. The current Flow uses a custom valve with 20x the flowrate of a Bürkert. On the same pressure as the old Flow it has TEN TIMES the power. And that is why I will never run it above 20 bar.

Amazing replicas by the way, I'm truly hyped for this pack. Even so far as it excites me more than the upcoming Silent Hills does... and that's saying something. You're not an idiot for not knowing how it's spelt, the paint is so scratched now you can't see the name.

Jaydee99, the chassis is a component. The actual RA2 chassis is little more than a spec hidden in the middle of the gubbings all thanks to FOTEPX. :)

Jarvis, yeah thats the one. Jesus that sounds immense, we might have to have another conversation about featherweight building later so I can pick your brain on pneumatics. Is the custom valve the bit that buggered up when you were up North? I know quite a lot about plumbing but pneumatics just seem like other world. But as with most things once I experience it first hand I tend to be quite fluent with everything, so it means you wont have to keep repeating yourself to me haha.

Anyway, Jarvis, you saw this earlier when It was a complete mess... But now its completely finished! (thank god) and as luck would have it you get two for the price of one! I'm quite eager to read the comments for this one. Its been quite challenging and I hope you all appreciate it! :)
