If I am correct the flip on plunderbird was extreme due to the robot not weighing the 1000kg the others that hb has made?

1000? Seems a bit to much for this game. Meaning that most of the robots would be Super-Heavy Weight.

I mean, I could be totally wrong right now and not even realising but just saiyan.

Hb said he is making all robots he has made to be 1000kg to mimic the 100kg weight the robots had?

Against Plunderbird, the flipper did seem to be quite intensive. Though not to the point where it was extremely unrealistic. I mean, Wheely Big Cheese pulled off a flip like that.

Dystopia does genuinely have that much power. The flipper has 2 flipper "Settings", effectively a high and low. The "high setting" gives power at the expense of gas, the "low setting" saves gas at the expense of power. The mod is representative of the "high setting".

To see the full power of Dystopia, watch the video below.

That said i tend to use the "high setting" in real life sparingly, because it wastes gas. I only used it at this time because it was one of my first few events with Dystopia and i was still learning how to use it most effectively. At this time i thought of it as more being a "Flip" and "self-right" setting rather than how i do now as an "OOTA" and "General" setting.

Jackster96 is right. Plunder bird is 600kg so in comparison is very light but the actual heavies still get tossed very very far! Depends on how you attack them.

I don't think there is any point in telling yous that Garfie is right, obviously he knows his own robot better than anyone else. ;)

I've been doodling for the past 4 hours and I've ended up making the first Featherweight to feature in the Mod....

You've had the Beast, now feast your eyes on this Beauty...

Hope you all like the beginning of the next step of getting this Mod finished!

Ooh, that'll look really nice when it's scattered all across the arena.  How many pieces does it break into?

A quick demonstration of Dystopia in-game.

Ive been helping out trying to get the ground clearance, power and the way it physically behaves just right for Dystopia in game. Plus also i helped rework the initial wire frame to make it a near exact match to the real Dystopia.

Hopefully with HBs work this should combine to make the most realistic robot possible for the game, and hopefully you all enjoy it once its realised.

Note: Unfortunately the lighting in the arenas used is alittle dark. The final look can be seen in the preview and also in the screenshots HB has already released.

NICE

also, if you dont mind me asking, how did you make it's flipper launch Tornado so high up with only just one inch of flipper movement?

Hopefully via a method known as "360-ing".  ;)
Excellent replica again though, I don't think there will be a need for custom components ever again once this mod comes out. I'm a particular fan of the smaller NPC motors and the new wheels.

I really wish I didn't have to say this...

It has come to my attention that several members of the community have contacted the developers of this mod asking for either
a) Bots to be released early to them
or
b) The bots that will not be added due to the aforementioned legal reasons.

This mod will be released when it is READY to be released, containing all the bots the developers have been ALLOWED to put in - It's not really their choice if they cannot add certain bots. Similarly, the future replicas are all planned, so requests, unless asked for, are NULL AND VOID.
Be thankful for what is coming to the community and be patient. I know the attitudes of many here are grating upon the developers who do all this in their spare time, in a way that too much more may mean this is yet another excellent mod that doesn't make it's way to ANYBODY.
Again, I wish I didn't have to say this, but further actions in the veins of those described above may incur sanctions, as the developers are frankly starting to feel harassed.

So enjoy the previews and look forward to what you will be able to play in the future.

Thanks everyone I'm very chuffed with Beauty 2!

To those who want to rip it apart... Your horrible. ;) in all seriousness. The frame is one piece but you can rip off the wheels if you get underneath or spike it. And you can attack the back which will rip out the gas bottle and motors which exposes the ra2 chassis and you can simply destroy it with one blow.

I might make another Beauty if I find out who owns/run each specific one and get some photographs taken. Then you will have a beauty to turn ugly!

Alex, 360 is retired. The teams other robot 720 is apparently the most destructive in the FRA FW Champs!

Microminer100, the closest thing to a Beta available is the one that Wham released a year and a half ago, but it is a completely different kettle of fish to what this has become.

Just finished this, it was honestly an arse taking 6 hours but I hope Jarvis likes it. And I hope you all like it, it's our next featherweight... Flow!
