Understandable reasons man. I was going to say a couple of days back you should take two weeks or so off the mod and have more time to yourself. Hope your girlfriend gets better.

dude he's a nice guy and if there's really someone on the forum, especially like him, who's going to lie about a sick girlfriend just to get our sympathy then he wouldn't be here. i trust heretic and he needs to put his personal life before some ra2 mod because he knows what's important and judging by your comment, you don't.

This literally has to be one of the dumbest things I have read in a while. Why would someone work on a mod like this for months just so they could make up a lie and disappear? Plus he never said he was going to leave, he just said progress on the mod was on hold since his girlfriend was in the hospital. You seem to fail to acknowledge the fact that he just got word that she was in the hospital and therefore likely has no clue himself as to when he would be able to work on it again.

This should really be common sense but you do know that to 99% of people that reality always come before playing/modding/hosting a tournament or using internet in general? He said the mod was on hold because of a major problem. For all we know his girlfriend could have a life-threatening illness and if he told us how would you feel? In fact how would you feel if you were in his situation? Again he could be in emotional pain (correct me if that's a real thing or not) and he's panicking about it for all we know. The point is that was an idiotic comment so if you want to go cry or winge about having to wait a bit longer for the next bit of news then go do it off the forum.

Thank you for the responses everyone, I didn't expect to get any to be honest. My lass is staying at her parents now, she's off work. She had a seizure on Thursday morning, dropped on the floor in the process and smashed her teeth out and fractured her jaw.

She's out of hospital and recovering well and yesterday she got fillings put in to rebuild what was lost in her two front teeth but there's still teeth that need to be replaced with denture type things. I've left her in her mothers care last night so I can go back to work, but I'm not at work... I don't feel right going back yet when she's in a state.

She's had two seizures before two years ago and both were in my care, thankfully she got a soft landing but she was still in a bad state, this time she fell on a wooden floor and should you know the story by now.

In case people don't know, seizures can kill someone from how or where they fall or the seizure itself can be so prolonged it can caused permanent brain damage, simply getting a migraine can be a trigger. She can't drink wine anymore and it's unsafe for her to fly after a certain amount of time and she can't drive anymore. So her mam and me will have to drive her around.

FOTEPX, well done for being petty and judgemental and not reading the post I left, or the other I have posted on the forum. You've collectively made yourself look like an ass.
Anyway I can't really back out now when I'm working on something under the Official Robot Wars Franchise now can I?

Well, I couldn't sleep last night considering what's been happening so I knocked this up. Also I realise I've never given you all an idea of how the graphics are being improved. The problem is that the arenas don't quite look as good as the robots.

I just want to say this right now but if there ever is a day in which this gets released on consoles or Vita/3DS as an indie-game I would cry of happiness. If you're looking for solutions then maybe try changing the lighting effects on the arenas or something like that.

Anyways I'm happy for you that your lass is okay, I know and seen people in those "states" in my last secondary school. One kid I know who has a trauma-related disability part of which was caused by seeing his father stab his mother at the age of 4 sometimes went into that state (he was 16 when was in an extremely bad state). One day in the middle of Maths class he went into an unconscious-like state for a minute then he kicked out of it and randomly started attacking people. It took two teachers and three classroom assistants to pin him down. Haven't seen him since that day.

Just felt the need to tell that story.

Welcome back. Good to hear that your girlfriend is fine. It sucks to here that she suffers from seizures which is never a good thing. On a more positive note I'd like to say that Saint looks amazing. The arena is a nice reskin.
