Jesus, I see the threads gotten a bit popular.  :rage

Erm, where do I start?
Thank you to everyone who has attempted to calm everyone down, its a shame it didn't really work though. :P

And in response to all you randy requesters, I'm not doing Big Cheese because I've already made its successor,  unless its for the series 3 RW AI pack I volenteered to help out with, you'll also find Trident, Scutters Revenge and many more in there when that's finished. I've already done the series 5 SMIDSY too so I'm not going to bother with the series 7 version.

Ripper, M2 and Maelstrom/St Agro you'll see with Titan if your on the subscribers list, I'm not saying whether or not I have done them already, you'll just have to wait and see. ;)

Mace 2 & Gemini are two robots I can decide between. If I make Gemini then please understand that it will be a massive kick in the face as they will end up being like the Minibot toy, joined back to back.

Yes that was splinter being flipped by Gravity, no I'm never doing Twn trwn, I'd rather smoke my cigarettes the wrong way round then do that. I am tempted by Weldor, its a nice robot and looks juicy to flip out of the arena. Wham's already started Mortis, I'll finish it if he never returns as well as attempt to take over the pack and do a brand new Razer.

Hmmm, you all actually didn't ask for much... Just the same robots repeatedly.

Anyway, I've made a little bit more progress on Crustacean, the dome on the top and bottom of the shell is still more of a cone though. Tsunami I havent started yet though, I'm still trying to work out how on earth I'm going to do it as the flipper will have to made out of 4 pieces.

I guess this should keep you all content for a while?
...Latest addition!

Cheers lads, yes X-terminator will be skinned when I find the time. Well to be honest I was thinking about redoing it entirely.

Anyway here's how Crushtacean Is looking so far in 3DS.

I'm not to sure whether or not this rep will have active weapons, I might just end up designing the collision so that it traps robots between the claws rather than putting the AI or player through the difficulty of trying to grab something.

If I could rep you, I totally would - these are officially, the most beautiful things I've seen grace RA2 in a long time. How'd you get these models from 3DS Max into RA2?

Why would the two Gemini twins have to be conjoined? Surely you can make only one twin and just have us fight them in team matches or something...

Thanks lads, I'm please you appreciate my work, I used Serge's tutorial on 3DS exporting with a little bit of extra advice here and there from Trov to get everything working.

Badnik, You see I would do Gemini as a single robot but I think it would be daft having to go into Team mode just to fight Gemini properly. I guess I can always see what I can do.

In other news, Crushtacean is finished. I was 100% happy with how it looked until it got into the game, so I'm not entirely satisfied but it does put up a damn good fight, dealing with its rivals in the same way as it dealt with Behemoth and Chaos 2.

Sadly yes but it works brilliantly static rather then them being on bursts/servos bouncing around every time they tap something.

I wish I had 3ds max.

The problem is I don't know where to download it and my computer runs on a Pentium 3 processor. :(

I don't know where to download 3DS MAX otherwise I'd use it as well. Is there a tutorial on using it here?
Anyway, love crustacean and propeller head.

There doesn't seem to be any 3ds 5 torrents left buzzing around so I use 3ds 8 and there is a tutorial linked below which shows you how to use components. It is a lot to get your head around, and even harder to master. To be honest I'm making a good amount of well sought after components with this pack such as the triple wedges, rammers armour, steel avenger/splinter style axe heads/claws, pistons for decoration on flipper and axe robots and so on so on. but obviously I'm not going to overdo it.

Anyway, this should be finished soon. Can anyone tell what it is?

Haha, cheers lads, Its a bit of a combination to be honest! But its got more in common with IA 2.1.

I managed to get it skinned, into the game, built up and completed, and its bloody brilliant even though I had to get rid of some of a few rivets for the exporting to work.

All In all... I'm chuffed.
