Has anyone even thought about downloading it, even though "Classic" building is as shameful as crawlers in BBEANS and custom part bots.
I actually like the AI pack, they are fun to watch fight...
-
I used to build realistic LWs and MWs (rammers, pokers and hammers) and pit them against HWs. Got bored. Went to DSL. XD
-
i've downloaded this pack, and from time to time i try to 'update' the bots, keeping the spirit but making them more dreadful... as long as i can.
here is an instance (it is RFS isn't it ? i don't really remember, all my teams are so mixed!)

There are many uncommon ideas about these bots.

I agree the bots are different. Thats the only word I can think to describe the packs. But I want a RFS DSL AI 2.0.
-
Yeah, that's RFS Philetbabe.
I honestly wonder what RA2 would be like if starcore didn't get so popular...
-
We'd still probably end up at this stage, but at a WELL WELL later date.
-
I too tried my orginal Tempus Fugit against the RFS AI packs, had fun but wanted more.
I can hope I have been able to help keep people having fun with the Starcore packs and getting DSL happening.
Makes me smile every day that I see you all are still having fun and tweaking that much harder years later.
RFS and all the packs have their place and special flavor to be enjoyed.
Starcore

-1 MONTH BUMP-
i'm looking into COMPLETELY rebuilding the RFS AI in stock as in new teams and stuff
and also in DSL
-
ur gonna need some real skill to make one better than rfs ai
-
yah ive got a MW VS and a LW rammer so far and the VS can beat some bots in starcore 4
-
I remember someone else wanting to make a new version of the RFS AI but was turned down by the original creator. So make sure that it is okay with him before releasing anything.
-
Just make your own AI pack.
-
yeah i had a stock replica AI pack running before i joined the forums that used the RFS AI but i ran into trouble. im thinking of redoing it in DSL though.
