I had the same image only a blue version for the arena floor..

Was going to call it the "Cyclone Dome" :P

Nice work..

I tell you what though, When I gave Serge my plans for the Ring Arena I was intending to use it as a "Flagship Arena" for Backlash but it looks like every mod is going to provide it before Backlash is even completed :P

I just used the flame command from Paint.Net to make it red.

I didn't realise that he made it for your mod. I thought that he just created it because he had the idea. Everyone seems to use it anyway. :P

I requested / came up with the plans for the Ring Arena

Serge took the idea and turned it into a piece of pure artwork with his 3D skills and released it

So while my intentions were for Backlash, its still his property to give out to whoever... just saying after its original intention it likely wont even be in Backlash after all that :P

Gas engine was the same situation.. though my original plans were quite crappy compared to Serges creation.

And yes that was the image I found :P

EDIT: Could someone help me with moving the buttons around? At the moment I can only move the text, not the buttons.

Do it the same way you did the text

Just find the Overlay buttons in the Gib file.

Assuming you are thinking of editing mainmenu.gib, you have to resize/move the parent code in order to move the buttons away from the center. If you need help or further instruction, feel free to PM me about it.

It is randomized. I just typed in random stuff to see whether it would work. :P

yes that is a way to discover what does what...

BUT if you do it to heaps of things, how will you know what does what? (your at square 1 still)

Change 1 thing at a time and view the effects, that is how you learn what each does...

Gazea, have you skinned the original components as well as copies of the components?

Its just I don't really want to have to re-snapper load everything to get the skinned HPZs on...
