probably cant be done.. but...

the screenie pretty much says it all but I will elaborate anyways...

I REALLY need this to work due to a perfectly real world possible bot that would be a bruiser. I know its a glitch and I'm afraid there is no way around it.. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

apparently you cannot have a motor on an extender that is attached to an axle...   is there a more stable post-stock-component for d/l I don't know about?

You can't do that on a loose axle and there's no way around it.

However, you CAN do it if Component A is a servo.  Servos aren't loose, so they won't glitch out like that.

the thing is... I wanted to use my chassis as... say a drum weapon with TONS of weapons coming off of it.. thus needing the drive motors on an extender allowing the chassis to spin freely but can still push/turn the chassis in directions it needs to go...

this is a bot that come to me while thinking about the hammer bot I made that use the drive motors to spin the chassis and hammer away... I think there is one in the DSL 2.0 AI pack that is similar to what I'm talking about.

I'll post a pic of the bot I actually got started to show you how kewl it woulda been. :)

(and dont go with all your awesomeness and build the bot i'm trying to show you click!) lol

That's actually been done before.

The problem is, with your chassis constantly rotating, you can't use normal drive.  When your chassis is upside down, the game will think your bot is upside down and your controls will get reversed.  So it will be nearly impossible to drive unless you use crawler-type wheels.

For the weapon motors, you can just use modded powerful servos.
