Paranoia AI is essentially an IRL AI Pack for DSL3. The pack's goal is to set a baseline for the DSL3 IRL metagame and competitive IRL, since as of now DSL3 Tournaments in general, let alone IRL, are few and far between.

Inb4 large DSL bars everywhere.

I'm trying to avoid having DSL-Bar overkill, the only bot with a DSL bar right now is Russian Dancing Man.

Crushchev is rather unstable because of its weapon, and Goodbye Kitty is just plain slow.
Could any of you gentlemen provide me information on how to acquire DSL 3?

By competitive, I'm referring to tournaments. Though it is sort of "missing the point", there at least needs to be some standards. I see IRL as an opportunity to put yourself in the place of an actual bot-builder, building an efficient machine which follows real-life physics and constraints, putting yourself in the role without having to dish out thousands to make an actual robot. That is just really my view on IRL, the style isn't defined by an exact description.

Atleast I have SOMETHING to fight other than a poorly AI'ed Aggressor (which I put in myself) and Starcore V3 where half the opponents drive the wrong way.

I was thinking of this, but then I realised that all my DSL3 IRL bots use custom parts, and all my decent IRL bots are in DSL 2.1 so I'm screwed both ways.

Edit: OH, Living Designs. That thing which had an '8 hours left' post in February, and where your last update was ' will be done eventually'. Not too surprising that people would go for something that could move a little faster?

In alpha it will be following that format, however more bots will be added as it moves towards its final version. The format will be the same as most AI packs by 1.0.0, all of the teams will use the starcore-styled format.

Might want to consider it, as the pack grows bots will be more dangerous due to rising standards. For example, I've upgraded Russian Dancing Man to have three 70kg Hammers on a DSL-Hex-Bar-Thing, changed the chassis shape and used different armor-plates to counter the increase in single-bar HS.

0.3.0 is finally out, enjoy the various changes that include the upgraded Pushkin.  :trollface


Edit: There seems to be an error with The Clockwork Army's new bots, since they're not visible. It will be fixed in due time.


Double Edit: Fixed, also subsequently fixed Glitch In The System's runtime error.

0.4.0 is now out, I apologize for some of the bugs in 0.3.0 such as flippers being unable to self-right or backwards bots, which has been fixed in this release. Enjoy.

Because of The Kings, I'll probably be unable to make updates at the scale and rate of past ones. For now though, I would like the community to suggest any improvements I should add to 0.5.0. This includes possible improvements on bots, team ideas, ect.

I'm reinstalling it all now and making some new 'bots because my PC crashed and I lost it all, so I could start working on another contribution if you want.

Also Lethal Design Incorporated isn't nearly as good or challenging as the other teams.

Currently, I'm working on other things and am focusing on school, though I'll get to making more teams eventually such as the Medical-based team in the works and a stereotyped Australian-Themed team.

I just wanted to tell you, if you modify the chassis on Mastiff, you can make a Tornado, I tried it and it was good at ramming. This was just a little suggestion I wanted to make. I'll try to get a screenshot as soon as possible of my one.

while this post actually counts as a bump, i second his question, especially since Paranoia his apparently finnaly back, so if might answer this that would be nice.
