Well at the moment I am working on a new conversion for RA2 called Vortex 1.0. It will feature: new and hard AI, some new parts which will be used on the AI also, a new menu and load screens, new music for the menu/team HQ/workshop. I just have one MAJOR problem... I need 3DS Max 4 to use the GabrielMax plugin. Anyone got a link? I WOULD buy it but its not sold anymore...:pissd: screens of progress so far coming soon...

Its very hard to find this program and only old versions 4 and 5 works with RA2. But for good i have it. You just can contact me and i will say to you how can you obtain it from me.

Ohhh i just forgot to tell to Bladez...
Just make sure before you contact me you have some program for downloading and it must continue file downloading after interruption, and you must have virtual CD emulator program that can read ISO file, like for example like dameon tools,Power iso and so...
just make sure you have them before contact me... I will explain you some things if you cant undersatnd something, NP...

And please make 1280x1024 size of the pictures in menus in RA2... Im sick of low res. wallpapers and backgrounds in RA2...

ACAMS... If this comment is for Bladezs post i get it... Im new here and dont know before but are you trying to say that he saying this pack from long time and he still didnt show something about it, and his pack will be not ready even after one year :D ... Give him a chance, maybe he is busy or really need this 3DstudioMax5 to finish it...

Anyway i wish him good luck with his working on this pack. I will be glad to help with what i can...

thanks for the support ACAMS :angry:..... and anyways, yes, i REALLY need 3ds 4 and i hav everything u listed... i found 5 but it no workie (could be vista) anyways do u hav xfire or email venko? oops heh nvm forgot about the MSN button... xD and uh i have daemon tools and what do u mean a program that can continue file downloading interruption...? u mean like limewire or like firefox can do? (is the download HTTP, FTP, or torrent?)

It's just that out of all of these proposed mods or AI packs or variations by people, only DSL, Pys' AI pack, Starcore 1-3, and RA2GE have gotten done, and RA2GE is the only total overhaul by a single person to get done. Good luck with your mod, and I hope it works, but the community doubts you'll get it done, that's all...

About interruption i mean this :
You dont need torrent program...
You will download this program directly from me, his size is big and you will downlaod it some hours, so you must downlaod it with some program that can do this : Imagine that for some reason your downloading progress is 99% and the power supply go off for few seconds... We restart our PCs and must start evrything again... So i separate the program on some 50 MB archives for more easy downloading but you still need progarm that after interruption contionue to downlaod from 99% not from begining

...

Im in Europe so time difference is big (im 7-8 hours infront of USA) so try to calculate what time you must contact with me and do it then... Im +2 GMT...

Just so you know venko, you're pretty much describing a torrent, being a p2p transmission that's split up into small chunks. In fact, making a torrent would be even better, since it would automatically split your file into chunks and be able to resume if... your power goes out? But I digress.
What you describe is also called Piracy, since the person you're transmitting the program to did not pay for it. If you're going to discuss software piracy, please at least do it though IMs or email, so we other forumites cannot be accused of complicity by negligence (however unlikely forthcoming charges are).

You can't mod Robot Arena 2 with 3DS Max on Vista.

Yeah, if he is with Vista he cant do it... So man install XP or there is no point to send you anything...

Some of the bots look pretty good, such as Grog, and Sentinel. But, if you had a good flipper, couldn't you dominate all of those bots besides Grog(possibly)?

so basically you amp all the components to max and give them a skin. thats original.

edit: the wheel's cool though. could be better skinned to look more like a wheel.

i think its cool enough if you finish. its just so many before you have said the same thing but never did anything. we cant trust everyone :D
